Powderhorn Park
South of Downtown Minneapolis, another park – the Powderhorn – waits. Powderhorn is described as the pride and joy of locals in the area, with the park hosting several celebrations every year. Fort Snelling State Park

Whitetail Woods Regional Park
Finally, Whitetail Woods in Farmington is bordered by the Vermillion Highlands Modified Wildlife Management Area to the east and the Vermillion River Wildlife and Aquatic Management areas to the south.
